Service and vibe outshine the brunch food. Had an opportunity to try a few dishes. Some were fine some were interesting but none were amazing. Tbh I enjoyed the brunch food at Win Son bakery more. Arrived at opening and we got lucky as there's been a line since it became insta/youtube famous. The space is 100% date worthy with BK vibes. The bathroom is wife worthy clean. Don't worry, the open window isn't viewable from the street or apts, I think, don't worry, it's fine. So the food is spendy. Started with the sloppy bao...it's covered in peanuts (the sloppy part) and I found it to be more texture than flavor. Def pillowy tho! Had the pea-shoots and the flavor was really good! It was however pricey for a non-protein. Also had the chicken + sesame waffles... At almost $30 we felt there could have been more than 1 square of waffle cut into 4 smaller triangle pieces. The chicken was battered with what seems like the rice version of pop chips. Although crispy and light it easily separates from the chicken. I'm not sure if the chicken we got was 100% coated either. In all the food was, fine. It's a 4 for the service and vibe but it's the bakery for me.

One of my favourite restaurants in Brooklyn! The Big Chicken Bun is divine!!! Super crispy chicken with an incredible mayo on chinese bolo bun Lu Rou Fan was alright, wouldn't re-order next time. I also recommend the dessert on the mochi donut. I was seated outside this time, but I think it's better to wait for an inside seat if wait is sub 15-20 minutes.

Ambiance was chill. We came 9PM on a Friday and waited 40 minutes even though they said 1:30. Server was nice and we had outdoor seating. I would say the food is on the pricier side for what it is and where it's located. The ru rou fan is good but nothing crazy. Scallion pancakes had no flavor. The pan fried dumplings were also "just okay". Overall I would say the drinks came out best and food is alright. I would give it a 4.1 star experience TIP: Make a reservation

We were able to snag a reservation for Father's Day! It was the perfect place to celebrate my husband. Our family has an array of allergies, but they were so lovely and accommodating to us. The food was divine. We collectively tried to order the entire menu! The star of the show were the marinated cucumbers. Such a simple dish but was so perfectly executed. Of course everything else was delicious as well. The space was very relaxing and beautifully curated. We all had a wonderful time. Thank you. Didn't get to take a photo of the scallion pancakes, pan griddled pork buns, zhajiangmian, big chicken bun, and the nutritious sandwich.

Elevated Taiwanese-American restaurant, with their very own bakery across the street. Win Son offers a varied menu of shareable small and large plates, creative cocktails, and even a great selection of Taiwanese whisky. The interior is cozy yet elegant, perfect for a casual date night. They do not accept reservations, so expect to wait. I came here with a group of 5 on a Wednesday at 8pm. The wait was 45 minutes, which gave us time to snag some pasties from the bakery for later, and a pre-dinner drink at the cute bar next door. Everything was delicious, and reasonably priced. My favorite dish overall was their O-a Jian, a richly savory oyster omelette with a touch of sweetness in the egg that balanced the salty elements. This was a perfect 10/10. The Sesame Noodles and vegetable dishes were well executed, and suitable for vegans. Do not skip dessert. The ice cream stuffed bolo bao, topped with butter fried peanuts, was absolutely decadent. I loved my cocktail as well; a fresh take on an espresso martini with 5 spice vodka, forthave coffee liqueur, and demerara. Service was genuinely friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Win Son.

We went on a Sunday lunch, and the wait wasn't too long(about 15 minutes?) I think overall it was good but not something that is on my mind or too crazy. That being said, it was still good and I rather not judge this on taste too much since people prefer different things. We got 3 things: the dumplings, omelette, and the mullet roe noodles. Not sure if it's something I would be craving to come back to but would still want to look to pick up their cookbook.

For a large party we couldn't grab a reservation off resy but arrived 15 mins before opening to line up and managed to snag tables in their outdoor dining area for 8 people. The staff here is very friendly and will do their best to accommodate walk-ins. My party and I didn't really order off the entree menu as we couldn't justify the price for what the food item is, but we did try nearly every appetizer option from the menu and found the food flavorful and easily shareable. I'm glad to have tried this place but it wouldn't be a spot on my regular rotation

In this part of Brooklyn that I wouldn't normally frequent 15 years ago, I was astounded to see a much gentrified and flourishing multicultural culinary destinations. Came here to sample an inventive Taiwanese fare with a Michelin Bib recognition. It has a sister bakery that sold excellent pastry options reflecting the diversity of its neighborhood. I enjoyed the vegetarian sesame noodles --

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I've been here a few times, and it NEVER disappoints. We always tend to come on a Friday night, which makes for a busy night and little of the wait, but the food is SO worth it. The ambiance is very Brooklyn, which I love. And the service is always outstanding. I've had several of the menu offerings, and I would recommend everything they serve. Absolutely every menu item is well crafted and thought out with fantastic layering of flavors. They have options for many types of diets, including vegan and gluten-free, which makes dining for folks with dietary restrictions pleasurable. They are also a very allergy-aware kitchen. Also, the thought in the care they put into their service and menu. They also have a fantastic bakery across the street so that you can have something sweet or coffee or tea after your meal in a more casual setting.
